WHY DID I WRITE THIS BOOK?

 

It’s clear that I live in this space of being daring, courageous, intrepid and audacious, mixed perfectly with a feeling of being reserved, overly thoughtful and concerned, people-pleasing, quiet and restrained.  But, I realized, and have become insanely clear, that the vast majority of us live in that space, too. It’s the third space right in between two extremes. The middle of excited and scared, the middle of nervous and happy, the middle of all in and all out, and I have found that I am in the middle of confidence. Some days it is easy and some days not, some days natural and some days forced, and some days motivating and some days daunting.

 

Through this discovery, I felt this huge push to uncover and explore my own confidence at a newer and deeper level. So, I started writing. This book is a collection of my stories - because I know I can’t give advice on how to be authentically confident without first finding my own strength. Plus, I know that giving advice is overrated. I wanted to honor that every woman I meet is an individual with her own story and her own path to confidence. This book is a guide to how I found my place, with one hope attached to it. My goal is that through my stories, you see yourself somewhere and decide that, no matter where you fall on the confidence spectrum, you have the permission to be radically unfinished.
